Our Mission: Our mission is to minimize further transmission of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and to maximize the quality of live for all persons affected by HIV.

Our Services: CARES offers individual and group education about reducing the risk of HIV transmission, needle-free HIV testing and counseling in a confidential setting, and HIV information and referral network for access to services through other organizations.

Maximizing the Quality of Life: Cares can assist with: securing HIV medical care, medications, and adherence to treatment goals; transportation to HIV medical appointments; peer support and assistance; emergency financial assistance; attaining safe and affordable housing.

Our Vision: Our vision is to become a recognized center of value and pride for our community, a resource for all, and vibrant gathering space. We will provide a safe, non-smoking, non-alcoholic environment for members of the GLBT community, their allies, familes, and community at large.

Our Mission: Our mission is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for all Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender people; their friends, allies, and families, to learn and share; to aid in the prevention of discrimination, and the education about diversity as well as discrimination of all types. It is the philosophy of the GLBT Resource Center of Michiana to treat our clients with the respect they deserve and to prove to others that the members of the GLBT community are individuals who are capable of making great contributions to society.
