The YWCA Out & Affirmation Center envisions Berrien County as a fully integrated community in which lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons and their families are welcome, respected, valued, understood, and afforded the same rights and responsibilities as everyone else.

The mission of the YWCA Out & Affirmation Center is to provide personal and social support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied persons and their families and to advocate for a greater understanding and respect for their lives throughout Berrien County.
