Rainbow Rhythms Tea Dance
June 1st at 3pm | Commune+Market
In LGBTQ+ history, a tea dance was a daytime social event where people gathered, danced, and met one another at a time where public meetings weren't possible. This year we are celebrating this history and building new connections with our Rainbow Rhythms Tea Dance, as part of our kick off for Pride 2025. This event is open to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as their friends and allies, and will include an afternoon dance party, light snacks, cash bar, high energy DJ, food trucks, and LGBTQ+ resource booths.
Queer Icons Karaoke
June 1st at 6pm | Tom Cat Tavern
In queer culture, a "Tom cat" is a bisexual or pan woman with masculine traits, which was part of the origin of the new bar's name. It only seems fitting that we kick off Pride Week here on June 1st, with a special Karaoke party featuring music by Gay Icons ONLY.
