The LGBTQ+ Safe Schools Collaborative is a multifaceted project to help schools become more inclusive of LGBTQ+ students.
GSA Clubs (Gender and Sexuality Alliance)
GSA clubs provide inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. It is crucial that students feel safe and heard in schools, libraries, and places of worship.
We provide GSA trainings, collaborate with local GSA clubs, and host an annual Teen Pride event every June!
Workshops and Guidance
OutCenter provides regular workshops to both local schools and broader school networks like ISDs. We also work with local schools, community organizations, and families on a case-by-case basis to help tackle difficult situations, provide a voice for LGBTQ+ students, and share guidance on best practices.
